12 HOURS user review
Walk around a randomly generated place to find 12 cards....its quite slow until you find a card and then you may OR may not have to run from a monster that shows up for about 30 seconds and actually disappears. I got 9 cards and found a room that sent me back to the beginning. I felt I spent too much time on this game.I also disliked the key config......LMB to turn on flash light? Isn't it pretty much a standard to use "F". I kept turning off the light when I wanted to pick up something.....doesn't sound like a big deal but when you wipe yourself with the hand not holding the toilet paper.....
Since it's in early development I'm forgiving it of it's bugs. It does have a very good base set up and there's a lot of directions the game developers could take this. Overall, it's a pretty good game and I look forward to seeing what they're gonna do with it in the future!
Scary, but not always, I was mocked by a goat with hellish eyes and graffiti on the walls. Ricardo Millos and the rest of the jokes - cool, they make the gameplay diverse! But unfortunately I only collected 10 hours, but I will collect all 12,
you walk down a hallway, it's a dead end for no reason
There are some things 12 hours does right... the environment randomising on every playthrough keeps the game fresh, and it doubtlessly has a creepy atmosphere with a decent soundtrack, however in its current state it is pretty unfairly balanced. There are no cues when you have a monster in your vicinity which makes them very difficult to avoid, and if one does happen to spot you, you're way too slow to have a sporting chance of escaping from it. Avoiding the enemies happens more by luck than judgement and that all ads up to a game experience that is more frustrating than challenging. In addition, batteries and consumables sometimes spawn in a location that they cannot be picked up.
You die too quickly and things catch you before you get very far. It does have a nice scary atmosphere when you wear headphones. For the price you can kill a bit of time. If you get frustrated easily though, this isn't the game for you.
its a cheesy game but i did ♥♥♥♥ myself though
