About This Game
What happens when everyone is stuck in the same time loop, without knowing?
Alt-Frequencies is an audio mystery game where you use the airwaves to open the world’s eyes to the truth. Record, rewind time and broadcast snippets of radio shows to expose radio hosts, conspiracy theorists, politicians, underground activists - and a dog.
By redistributing information, you change what happens in the next 3 minute time loop and impact both news cycles and the lives of the people behind them.
Listen as their personal stories evolve, in a world that seems to stand still.
- A new kind of narrative game that blurs the lines between the fantastical and the everyday while examining our relationship with mainstream media through the prism of radio stations.
- Built-in accessibility features that make the game available to a wide range of people - including blind and visually impaired players.
- Brought to life by a diverse cast of 20+ amazing voice performers, including TV, podcasts and YouTube personalities such as Jasika Nicole (Fringe, Welcome to Night Vale) & Mike Rugnetta (Reasonably Sound, CrashCourse).
- By the studio behind the critically acclaimed A Normal Lost Phone and Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story.

Alt-Frequencies user review
One sentence: It was better than I thought it would be.
This is such a great IDEA for a game, but unfortunately, Alt-Frequencies is a really bad execution of that idea. This concept definitely had potential, but this game is overpriced, really poorly executed, and not worth your time.
Incredibly good game.
I completed this game in one night and caught a huge case of the feels
Love the concept, but it's painfully short. I really wish this idea was expanded on more in the future.
Alt-Frequencies is Breathtaking (11/10).
I've just started playing the game but I'm already so excited about it: the tutorial and first minutes in the game make me think it's a very interesting project you might want to explore.
This games premise was so interesting, and I really enjoyed the gameplay and plot. What was sad was how short the game was, because the story seems like it stopped right when it was supposed to pick up and get really good. The puzzles I found rather difficult, and it was really fun trying to put all of the pieces togehter and figure out who to trust with information in the story. If the game had a few more chapters, I think it would have been a lot better, but what we got was still a really fun gaming experience. The gameplay for as simple as it was, never felt boring or stale and each character was really interesting. Pick this game up for a nice quick playthrough, you won't be disappointed!
a short well written story with a nice amount of layers to it and a great concept. a really great cast with some recognisable voices like Jasika Nicole.
Interesting and intriguing. A different puzzle game that will keep you playing with questions in your head, as each of them gets answered you will wonder more and get deeper.
Neat game with a little under 2 hours of gameplay, I would recommend it on that aspect however the price tag is not worth the game. I would have expected a bit more from a game in the $7 to $8 range. The idea is interesting and very much original, but it felt very simplistic and not as complex as I expected it to be.
Brilliant game with a fascinating concept. Didn't take long to complete, but the writing was great and the game play was fun.
This was fun. The german voiceover is excellent.
An incredible game. The core concept/gameplay of recording clips and sending them to radio hosts is very satisfying, especially since the puzzles' reward is more dialogue. The voice actors are terrific. My only criticism is that when having trouble figuring out a puzzle or achievement it can be tedious getting back to the beginning of the level, a restart button would be appreciated.
Short with simple game mechanics, and puzzles just complex enough to feel good to solve but won't make you tear your hair out. Definitely worth a play.
