About This Game

It is your time to learn politics and use this information in a simulation.

This adventure takes place in an imaginary country where it was impossible to form a stable coalition government after a vicious cycle of elections. ''The Great State'' is an imaginary western country with an area of 1 million kilometers and populated by 100 millions of people. It is also among the 10 most developed countries in the world with a high GDP and a life expectancy of 80 years.

After numerous consecutive elections and negotiations, a president with a decent level of approval from all parties is assigned as the head of the government. You are the president, but will you manage to keep your promises? That is the question. Remember, you won’t be able to win this game by satisfying the demands of one side or following a single ideology. Instead, you should embrace the thoughts of every citizen and guarantee a certain level of general happiness.

Migration laws, age of retirement, legalisation of weed, insurance policies, military spending, trade agreements, protection of natural parks, space mining, capital punishment, education of minorities, tax rates… You have the power to make decisions regarding to all these controversial topics, determining the future of the country and your political career.

Simplistic, Unrealistic, and Unpolished

The game is good but very lacking. Basically, you answer different political questions. Sometimes right and sometimes left. Trying to balance the parties, the economy and national security. In the end I had hoped to see something like a breakdown of what my different choices did for the country at the end of my term. Unfortunately that does not happen. Something like: The economy grew X %, the poverty rate dropped or rose X %, the percentage of religious people grew or shrunk X %, etc. Adding more details like that would help transform this game from a clicker to an actual political simulation game. For now it's ok to spend 20 minutes on but it's not an actual political simulator yet. The various Democracy games are basically the fleshed out version of this game minus the twitter questions.

Decent politics simulator where you chose to let bills being voted in order to satisfy either the left or the right (let's separation of power out of the picture ;)). Worth a look for all political interested people. Good way to find out a balanced point of view in the world of politics. In order to better understand why decisions are being taken.

While not a bad idea, the game is way too short. It takes about 15 minutes to complete and your choices don't matter apart from balancing the numbers. Not even close to be worth the price. If anything this game should have been a free browser game.

its a good start, few things id like to see added or edited, to short on turns even for early access, number 2, should not have to make most of the party's happy to stay in power, 3rd, should be able to be a dictator if we want,

Incredibly disappointed. I was very hopeful as several other presidential simulations have been done - I was expecting too much. Good concept, but maybe about 5% of the way to a really enjoyable game.

The game has potential, but it is VERY barebones at the moment, especially considering the price.

Look, it has a great idea, but the implementation sucks. I don't like the fact that you instantly get kicked out of office if one the groups does not like you. That is not how politics works. Each party should have a number of seats and if over 50% of parliament dislike you for a couple of turns then you should get outed. There should also be difficulty settings and more options.

Let down by this game, it isn't a simulator all it consists of is a series of questions you need to answer, the game is over quickly and isn't at all engaging. Not worth the money

Very short game. Finish in 10 minutes. Have some nice touch (like social media) but it's all about balancing your decisions (not too far left, not too far right). Doesn't have much depth like Democracy 3

Very few interactions, which are rather boring routines. It's the same things - to approve or not to approve the law proposal and to choose one of the two options for Social Networking like Twitter. Unable to react to news reports (none options for made decision / choose). :-( The Democracy 3 is much more better.
