About This Game BirdGut is a hand-drawn 2d puzzle-platformer set inside the internal organs of a bird.
A bee hatches in the hive, but something's wrong. Born different from the others, the bee is exiled from the hive and forced to survive the world on its own. That is, until a bird attacks and eats it.
But that's only the beginning... Inside the bird, all of the bugs that it eats are brainwashed and put to work in fantastical, mechanical factories that exist in the place of its organs, except for the outcast bee, whose very disability prevents them from being brainwashed. The bee takes it upon itself to destroy the massive bird from the inside out, and free all the enslaved critters within.

BirdGut user review
BirdGut is a fascinating blend of simple controls and very strange situations.
Soo good for a free game. Graphics and sounds are adorable. Some of the puzzles reminds me of Limbo. It is a short game but challenging in some parts. Highly recommended!
The game detail in BirdGut is inspirational. It was a unique story, incredibly drawn, the soundtrack was beautiful and I was quite mesmerized by the sound effects in the game, even repeating character movements just to hear the accompanied sounds again.
Nice art style and a very good Imagination of the creator. Very fun to play.
This game is really fun and its free!
Fun, short, challenging!
I recently played and reviewed the Spider-Man: Far From Home VR Experience. It's another free game on steam with pretty glowing reviews, so I went ahead and tried it out, expecting it to have at least earned its reception. What I found was a horrible game not even worth anyone's time let alone any money. This was not the case when I tried the similarly free and highly reviewed BirdGut. This game was clearly a passion project for its developer Micah Boursier, as this short but sweet adventure has very well designed gameplay, is really interesting artistically, and has been supported nicely for the community. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys a good platformer give this one a go, and I look forward to seeing what comes next for Micah.
Hand-drawn 2d platformer from a bee's perspective. Three separate endings to choose from, steam achievements.
this game is silly. I do not like when things are silly. I like serious plots like in Halo Reach and Mass Effect. This is stupid. It's just a bird.
Really cool and funny game
I love games with black and white design, the background music of this game is really cool, it's a music you enjoy keep listening while playing.
Birdgut is such a simple game, a lot like limbo, with a bunch of puzzles and strange situations, very cool dialog, and playstyle. Controls are easy, and it was so fun playing this game on turns with my 10 year old brother, he couldn't get enough of it. Great imagination!
Pleasant, simple, charming! Well, as charming as being inside the bowels of a bird can be.
Very silly, but entertaining and short enough not to outstay its welcome despite a couple of very frustrating "multiple death" sequences. Definitely worth a lazy afternoon of your time
Bee Gaming for Free with BirdGut
This game is fun(ny), frustrating, and overall just fantastic. That pretty much sums up the whole game but the ending, because the ending was a bit unsatisfactory although still pretty funny nonetheless. This game is just gold, in every way possible and for free it is totally worth it.
If I had to pick one word to describe this game, it would be "fun." It plays incredibly well, levels are paced nicely, puzzles are rewarding and the style and story are both very enjoyable. Play this game!
