Fresh Supply is another one of those "ports" that fundamentally has no real reason to exist. It comes with a variety of bugs and strange quirks that make it just a lesser version of Nblood or BloodGDX. For example the viewport is lower than its supposed to be, portals do not work as they should(making a lot of user maps that use them broken), strange collision detection of fences(a problem right on the first level) and so on and so on.

This game is so good. It has a campy story-line of necromancy, revenge and madness. It's not a deep story, but it establishes its theme effectively. The intro sequence leading into the iconic "I live again" is very cool. There is impressive variety in environments. The sound design is very retro and timeless. The health recovery heart pump sound will alchemically transmute your soul. The weapon loadout is legendary. These weapons are not quite the straight forward point and shoot that the genre is known for. Every weapon requires subtle finesse and understanding with regard to its potentials. There are about six ways you can light everything on fire. All weapons have alt fire modes. You can kill people by mercilessly jabbing a voodoo doll. you can light aerosol cans on fire and deal massive area effect damage. The shotgun is incredibly slick and badass. Throwing sticks of dynamite and cackling like a derange lunatic as the gibs fly is quite fun. The first boss is pretty awesome but after that they're kinda meh. The game is challenging throughout. It has some cheap moments so save often and maybe keep a backup. You'll also get lost a lot. Don't be ashamed to use a walkthrough. The ending of Cryptic Passage is just stupid. Aside that the level design is great. Play "Well Done" or go home. Hop in the ovens and get those secrets cause you'll need them. Crouch often and edge corners carefully. Or charge in jumping and napalm launching. Become a master of chaos.

it's blood but you can play it

Its the best of the trilogy on the build engine, also the hardest, remaster is functional now after a bumpy launch def pick up if you haven't played and see one of the best 90's shooters in all its hit scan glory

Blood is an interesting game and the best way to describe it is to describe it's main enemy: the cultist. A goony bulbous face protruding from a yellow or black cloak, he shouts gibberish constantly at you and generally would fit right in in Army of Darkness. Video game veteran that you are, you charge this guy expecting to mow him down like the FPS vet that you are.

Do you like Doom? do you like Quake? then this game is for you

I expected clunky nostalgia and instead got a really enjoyable game. Movement and shooting feels great and smooth, enemies are smart, all weapons have specific uses, but the best is the level design. It's worth playing just to experience that, sidepaths, shortcuts, very clever secrets. Difficulty is scalable, there's custom settings for enemy numbers, agression, health. So it's old school with modern QOL.

A really good port of the original Blood. This game is really challenging and really fun. I think the weapons are really fun to play around with and the game has a good sense of humor. 10/10 one of the best shooters ever.

The Good

I love that game along with the Build classics (Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow warrior) and I'm having a blast each time. I love the cool references, the eerie music and the gothic and creepy ambience of the levels. I'm very happy with the new version and the gameplay is better than the One unit whole Blood version.

If you want a game with non-stop action and zero nonsense, then pick this game up.
