About This Game
Chook & Sosig: Walk the Plank is a mischievous, charming and character-driven adventure.
Along with a few friends, Chook & Sosig get creative while roleplaying as pirates. When you need to hunt for fabled treasure, you need some weird pals to join your quest! Join a ghostly chicken and a wobbly spaghetti cat as they seek fabled treasures, solve puzzles, wear dashing hats, and who knows what else!
Through point and click gameplay and hilarious dialogue with oddball characters, the world of Chook & Sosig is brought to life with hand-drawn art, comedic charm and delightfully detailed cartoon-inspired animation. Explore a seaside world with beloved characters including Min, Hebble, Cow and countless naughty goblins. Shape the story and unfold comedy adventure!
They may not be actual pirates, but they’ve heard all the classic tales. What could go wrong?
- Lively, hand-drawn world: Enjoy the cute (and occasionally spooky) stylings of this cartoon-inspired artstyle, lovingly drawn from scratch and full of thoughtfully detailed animation.
- Vibrant characters: Get to know the whole crew, adventuring with a cheeky group of friends playing several different roles (and costumes!).
- Multiple endings: If treasure and unimaginable riches doesn’t sound like a lofty enough goal, you could always overthrow the local sea deity and be worshipped as a god!
- Super funky soundtrack: Enjoy the musical stylings of Japan-based Nathan Cleary, with over 7 tracks to bop along to! In-game sounds also include true seaside soundscapes, captured by the developer at her seaside location in New Zealand!
- Expanding the Chook & Sosig universe: With fans like Markiplier, this beloved spaghetti cat and ghost chicken has been on several previous adventures, such as A Case of Murder, Hit the Club and Long Weekend. Walk the Plank is their biggest adventure yet!

Chook & Sosig: Walk the Plank user review
Chook & Sosig: Walk the Plank is a cute game, mostly directed to a young audience. The art style is the biggest asset of this game, but the dialogues are also very well-written (despite a few typos here and there). This game is obviously made with a lot of love and hard work. Other than that, the puzzles are extremely easy and the game is quite short, even though I've explored both of the endings. If you like cute and relaxing games, then this is your game! If you prefer games with difficult puzzles and you aren't that much into cute things, then I doubt that you'll like it. Anyway, I liked this game, although I prefer solving difficult puzzles, so here is my positive review. Good job, developers!
A really comfy game with charming atmosphere.

This game is awesomely drawn, music really compliments different locations and the gameplay is of a classic hidden object quest with a pirate twist. You'll have a great time with this game.
Really funny and heartwarming point-and-click adventure placing an emphasis on cute affable characters with colorful personalities. Overall great game with delightful art style and music.
Can't recommend this game enough! Stunning visuals, likeable characters, and a very cute story. Great times are ahead me hearteys!
Lovely little game although short, however if you decide to get the 2 different endings as I did you get a bit more game play. Unique hand drawn characters and backgrounds and a quite fitting bubbly soundtrack, with a good dash of humour thrown into the mix. 8/10
This is a very cheerful game and feels a bit like a mix between King's Quest, Adventure Time, and Harmon's Quest. If you like likable characters, fun banter, and adventure, then this would be a fun one to pick up!
Played this for a couple hours and looking forward to more. It is your standard point and click adventure game with a little added twist in how the narrative plays out. You bounce between the friends playing a table top D&D of the game you are playing with point and clicky parts. I thought that was actually pretty cool. I don't think I've played any adventure games like that. It is a heck of a way to build the characters up and tell the story. The sound could use a little work. The effects and "voices" of the characters feel like they were just dropped in and really need to be remastered so adjust your audio levels accordingly. That was the only thing that really bugged me. Other than that you are a wiggly waving not inflatable or tube man, cat... who is out on an adventure. Also, ghost chicken.
Super silly, super fun, super charming. :D
It was a very cute game. Pretty quick point-and-click style. 100% in 4.6 hours. There are two endings, which I didn't expect; all depends on which story you decide to follow. Over all, I enjoyed it, and the cute noises the characters make!
not worth ten bucks
I love the characters and all the hand drawn art! Fun writing and a reasonable length, doesn't overstay it's welcome. I've found two endings, and have a few more achievements to finish. An engaging point and click puzzle adventure.
To be honest, game reviews from anyone but actual players do not interest me. Awards not obviously openly player-based (REAL players, that is) do not concern me. The gaming media, and the mainstream media in general, do not interest me beyond their astonishing corruption and bias. The praise for so-called "entertainment" such as the disaster that was "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and the game that launched a thousand GamerGates "Depression Quest," was the final spike in that coffin.
I've been playing the Chook & Sosig series since it first started up and I absolutely Love this game! It's cute as hell and a charming way to spend the time, & I'm happy to be supporting content creators from New Zealand.
A charming point-and-click adventure game with loveble characters each having a wonderful personalitie. The music really compliments the different locations. Toghter with the cute and beautiful art style.
This is a cute game! I've never played any previous Chook & Sosig games but I really enjoyed this one. The story was well written and had a lot of little laughs included, and the actual gameplay was pretty nice for your point and click puzzle games. Definitely recommend for a short little fun time.
