Clam Man is a game built around jokes and a strange, absurd narrative! It has weird characters, tons of puns, and a handful of puzzles; but the focus of the game is definitely dialogue! Examining the world, talking to characters and taking it easy: If that sounds like your thing, this might just be the game for you!

STORY

Clam Man is the story of the Clam Man. Intriguing, isn't it? Yes, it's true - he is a clam and yet also a man. This is not a topic of debate, it is fact. We've confirmed it while working on this game. Using science.

Thank You, Playtester - we couldn't agree more.

But to be more specific: This is the story of a man, recently promoted to junior sales representative, enjoying the comforts and leisure of lower-mid-level office work. However, things suddenly take a turn for the worse, and the Clam Man is cast into an adventure full of danger, suspicion, and mystery. Join him, as he unravels the conspiracy behind the tragic event that befalls him, and fight to restore CLAMMY JUSTICE to the world of Snacky Bay.

Clam Man is a point'n'click adventure game, with an emphasis on story rather than puzzles! We wanted to create a game focused on the parts we loved about old school adventure games - the story and the jokes. It's a simple, entertaining game where you explore the world and interact with it's inhabitants. Oh, and we did throw a few puzzles in here and there, too.

Big trouble in little Bivalvia

When you've experienced as many Point and Click adventure games as I have, you get used to playing as unusual characters. King of a fantasy kingdom? low hanging fruit. Pirates? Of course. Unlucky guy who wears leisure suits? Old hat. Space Janitor? yep. Skeleton who frequents jive bars in the underworld? been there done that.

To start with a couple of potential turn-offs, Clam Man is short and, as far as point-and-click adventures go, doesn't have too many puzzles. In this case, by "too many" I mean four. Because the game has three. Still, it's three puzzles more than some other modern games have.

Short and simple, but sweet.

Short and sweet. Hit me with some real gutbusting laughs.

Deliciously absurd little game! It's something you can easily pick up and finish in one go and it shows that it's meant to be like that. It feels like the main purpose of the game is to make you laugh, relax and just enjoy. Dry, strong humor sprinkled with good puns and rewarding references. Best part is that you as a player feel like you're always in on the jokes, and you're an active part of the delivery.

Hilarious and short! That is what some people will say, but we are not here to talk about my sex life. We are talking about a beautiful game, with delicious art, glorious animation and great dialogues that will make you laugh. Oh, also there is a Duck. Ducks are cool.

A fun little snacky point & click game. Such a different tone and feel than what i'm used to but i dig it. Jokes and references right up my alley, a good solid commuter song, and an adorable Nat. A good Sunday game to just relax, point, click and laugh, and also get mildly existential-y.

I really wanted to like Clam Man, and I did, but I had the thought "the sequel is going to be amazing" more often than "THIS game is amazing."

Clam Man is a humorous story-driven game about a Clam Man who was fired from his job for no reason. If you like point and click adventure games, you'll love Clam Man.

Pretty good! Lots of old-school, point-n-click style humour. That sort of thing is either your sort of thing or it isn't, innit.
