Picross is a picture logic puzzle game in which cells in a grid are filled in by following the number hints provided on the top and side of the grid. Once all the hints are filled in, a secret image reveals itself!
- Haven't I seen this before?
You may have! Picross has been around for quite some time. You may also know them as Nonogram puzzles or Griddlers. But we have a secret twist to our puzzles! Unlike traditional games which limit your puzzle to one grid, our puzzles consist of 3 layers. As a portion of each layer is colored in, the final image will begin to form based on how all 3 layers blend together. Ensure each layer is correct, and you'll reveal the final image and solve the puzzle!

This isn't a bad game, but there's a lot of nonogram games available that are better. This one is just . . . awkward. The grids are sub-divided by 4s instead of 5s, so my counting it always off. You select colors by clicking multiple times instead of having a palette or using different keys. There's no manual marking off of the clue numbers and the auto mark-off is non-intuitive and inconsistent. Oh, and don't be fooled by the multiple layers, they don't interact *at all*. Mechanically, you're solving three unrelated nonograms whose artwork just happens to get overlaid. The devs have been responsive, so some of this may get fixed, but right now the best rating I can give it is "meh".
Amazing fun that challenges the mind - highly recommended for puzzle enthusiasts
This game is great! Easy to play, smooth mouse and keyboard controls. I've been able to get me kids into playing this game and they are only age 6 and 7. The color overlays for the puzzles is a nice twist. You cannot go wrong with this one with this Picross game. I hope they keep adding puzzles.
I am loving this game! Doing layers of color and having a reveal at the end is very satisfying. The multiple shades on a layer makes it more challenging and interesting, and everything works really smoothly.
It's been a long time since I've played a Picross style game. Was excited to see this one with a twist on the different layers. I've been enjoying it a lot so far! If you like Picross games, you cannot go wrong with this one.
So far this game seems to be almost exactly what I was looking for (multicolored nonograms with smooth mouse controllers), with the added bonus of the different layers. But that font is unfortunately removing me from the chilled out experience I wanted, the numbers are too hard to read. Fix it and I'm sold.
I dont often play puzzle games, and i generally hate sudoku like games. That being said i found myself really enjoying the simplicity of this game. It often felt rewarding to uncover the images. I played the game mainly whenever I wanted a break from other more intense and stressful games .Overall I had a good time and id recommend it to anyone that has an extra 10 bucks and wants to see some neat little pictures
I love picross-style games, and the color blending feature of this one is lots of fun. It's a great complement to other picross games, and the music is very chill. It's a great stress-reliever.
I've always loved puzzle games so I had to try this one out. Does not disappoint. Highly addictive and smooth. The music is nice and easy on the ears. Looking forward to wasting hours getting lost in these puzzles.
Picross games are fun, but they can be quite challenging. Fortunately, this game Depixtion hits that sweet spot between enjoyably hard and annoying grind, leaving you feeling quite satisfied after you complete each puzzle. And there are lots of puzzles... there are 288 different graphs to solve, which is 96 red, 96 yellow and 96 blue, always in the order of red, yellow and blue. This is because every group of 3 puzzles are thematically linked: you can get a rough idea of where to fill in one grid by looking at the other two.
Great, deceptively challenging game! Fun way to waste a little time, and the music is well-crafted and relaxing.
Depixtion will appeal to fans of puzzle games, picross games, and good casual games! Mechanics are simple to pick up quickly, and the breadth of challenging images and puzzles you can unlock will leave you with hours to play!
The game puts a nice twist on the Picross style. It is a great game for some looking for puzzles or to pass the time as the images seem to increase in difficulty based on image size.
Very fun twist on the nonogram concept. Carefully crafted and often non-obvious pictures are a pleasure to solve. Definitely recommended for puzzle lovers.
