About This Game

Final Assault is a WWII themed Action Strategy Game built from the ground up to capitalize on the power of VR. As the player, you Tower over the battlefield as the war rages around you in 360 degrees. Final Assault mixes the combat of an RTS and Moba, while keeping the focuses on the combat, removing base building and resource gathering and putting you into the battle quickly. Command jeeps, tanks, artillery and aircraft in the massive ground to air battles. Execute air strikes and bombing runs as you advance your troops towards enemy territory. Control your units by drawing paths for precise, direct combat. Strategic decisions have consequences that require quick thinking and fast VR reflexes. This new approach to classic RTS gaming utilizes compelling and immersive game-play that can only exist in VR. Jump into the combat. Fight the battle, Win the War!

***NOTE: This is not a Tower Defense game, but a new style of Action Strategy that mixes an RTS and Moba with play mechanics crafted for Virtual Reality.

A fun strategy game, recommended. This is a VR strategy title done properly and it has a fun quirky character.

This is not a standard RTS (total war, Age of empires, Company of Heros, etc). Infantry move on their own, and you buy vehicles in order to win the tug of war. It can feel a little broken when someone spams rocket artillery tanks, but it's fun. As long as you don't expect a full RTS experience, it can be fun. I do think there's room for improvement, it can be repetitive in single player and some more modes or something in MP would be nice. I also hope other companies see how well this comes together and makes some VR RTS. RUSE in VR would be perfect.

Freaking awesome. I've been away from RTS games for a while, this was a great point to jump back in. One weekend of free play and I was hooked. Great game.

Intuitive, addictive and a well done game.

Excellent game, it's one of the top 10 games out there for VR. I love war games and having the planes circling your head while they are dog-fighting is incredible. My only gripe is that i wish that the battlefields were bigger. Other than that, i can't recommend it enough.

I don't make many reviews, but this game is awesome so I had to. I love RTS games, and while the gameplay is simplistic, it's really engaging and fun, super easy to get into right off the bat.

Great strategy game. It is a little glitchy sometimes, but the graphics are excellent on high setting even on my i5 laptop with a GTX 1050Ti GPU. Please keep developing this one even further!

This was pretty fun. I don't think it did much new in terms of RTS, although the aerial combat layer seems to be truly 3D and terrain does block shooting from units that don't have a weapon that ignores terrain. What's surprising here is that it is a solid RTS. It is remarkably fully featured with multiple unit lists each with their own set of unique powers and play styles. I'm rubbish at RTSes but it still kept me entertained for two hours. The only thing that I thought was missing was a fully featured save system. The PVP queue even lets you drop in and out of your single player games while waiting, and queue time for me was always under 5 minutes.

Great game. I didnt like Brass Tactics, but if more games like this came out im into it. Really wish to see Age of Empires level of detail in near future vr games.

This game is so epic!

Bloody awesome, my favourite VR game to date. The ability to deploy your forces as you walk over the battlefield in particular having a plane fly up to you prior to directing it to attack the enemy never gets old. Improvement? well it would be nice to be able to select multiple forces with one hand gesture and send them into the attack.

Great VR game, Fantastic way to experience a RTS. Seems to have good balance, and most battles feel different. Only negative is lonnnnngggg wait times for multiplayer. But that's VR.

One of the best games i've played not only in VR but in general . The level of detail the guys went into in this RTS is next level . Just the animation on the windsocks alone blows my mind ...

Best RTS game I've tried on VR so far. Needs some balance fixes here and there, but overall you can compensate with skill. The controls are intuitive, simple and easy. I love the graphics, the menus and the overall game play. The AI isn't bad either, it catches me off-guard sometimes.

I recommend this only because the RTS genre in VR is nascent, and this is about the best anyone can do. It's definitely a step in the right direction. If you are an early adopter, get it. If not, wait for a sale. It has some control issues, and definitely some balance issues between the commanders.

This is a fun little game.

Ever have AAA go off in your face, here is your chance. If you stomped about your backyard making war noises with your military toys, this games for you. I am an Army combat Vet and this game had me grinning ear to ear.

This game is ♥♥♥♥ing amazing!!! super fun.
