What Is Infected Shelter?

Mortal Kombat + Dead Cells + Castle Crashers = Infected Shelter

Infected Shelter is a randomly generated rogue-lite post-apocalyptic action RPG shooter / dungeon brawler. Singleplayer and co-op for up to four players.

Every run is different because of the randomly generated content. By beating enemies players can loot more than 150 different blueprints of permanent improvements and this is the key to Infected Shelter's replayability. Instead of just collecting loot to make yourself more powerful during a single run, you unlock new weapons, clothes, skills, relics and RPG-like character improvements that change how you play the game in the following runs.

Gameplay & Story

You play as a member of a surviving group in a post-apocalyptic world. On one fateful morning you awake to find the shelter is raided and your people are kidnapped for reasons unknown. Leaving your shelter you emerge into the harsh infected land and start looking for the kidnappers and the truth behind the events. Your path lead you through randomly generated post-apocalyptic areas controlled by different enemy factions with brutal leaders and shelters occupied by infected creatures.

You have to use your skills in a fast paced, violent and complex 2D brawler-like combat where lots of firearms and melee weapons are waiting for you to beat and execute your enemies. You will unlock new weapons, clothes, skills, relics and RPG-like character improvements during your journey.

"A hectic action-based hack-and-slash/arcade shooter with a zombie theme, and rogue-lite elements, Infected Shelter is the sort of game that will just hook you within minutes of playing, and reel you into its crazy, post-apocalyptic world."

This game is very enjoyable even if you play alone. Despite the Early Access, it's well-polished already. The price is also reasonable. However, It would be better if there were more contents. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.

I was able to beat the game (or at least as much as is available currently in under two hours. The combat is extremely stiff and weapon range is odd, resulting in enemies like the bats being JUST out of range when you want to attack them.

Got time to kill? This is the most fun you can have without having to think about anything. Basic attack combos, items, power ups. No real story to it so you're basically playing a beat em up. This game is in early access but even so, it still proves more than enough content to keep you entertained for a hours.

Strongly recommended.

Great game, rampage knights but better.

Very repetitive.

Infected Shelteris is rogue-lite brawler,with a lot of unlocables:weapons,power ups,pets and clothes with different stats.combat feels good,unlocables are interesting and fun.it's a lot of fun even in early access.been playing since closed beta,looking forward to the upcoming updates,but even now i can reccomend it without the doubt.

In this video I take a look at Infected Shelter a side scrolling rogue-lite RPG zombie hack'n'slash with single or multi-player.

Fun, gory, low replayablity for now.
