About This Game

KurtzPel is a 3rd Person, Anime-Inspired, Action Battle Game created by KOG, the developers of Grand Chase and Elsword Online.

You can enjoy various 2vs2 PvP Modes queued up by a smart, automated match-making system.
Or, you can embark upon a larger-than-life, raid style, quest driven battle system against big, bad boss monsters.

In KurtzPel, classic action game dynamics are enabled when players empower their characters with 2, separate jobs (Karma) that can be used interchangeably.

Main Content

Promotion Mission(PVP)
Deathmatch (PVP) - Defeat your enemies and whoever scores more points will win.
Capture the Flag (PVP) - Acquire the Flag in the battlefield and whoever scored the most point at the end of the match will win.
Conquest (PVP) - Split to Red & Blue team and whoever has captures the zone when the match is over wins.

Epic/Repeat Mission (PVE)
Fight important enemies in the KurtzPel universe and discover the story of KurtzPel by interacting with Hero NPCs.
Also, has a low chance to drop special reward (Accessories and etc.) and has multiple difficulties and provides challenges in PVE fashion.

Character Customization System
Select your personality and provide appearance options depending on your selection to lessen the difficulty of selecting your character’s appearance.
You can select body type, height, and other appearance feature to create your unique character.

Karma (Weapon) Switching System
There are two roles, breaker and slayer. You can switch your karma at any time during the battle.

NPC Affinity System
You can increase the NPC affinity through dialogues or by collecting provided keywords and acquire various rewards (Karma, Karma Fragment, Weapon, Costume, Accessories and etc.).

Costume System
Weapon, Costume (Top, Bottom, Innerwear), accessories (Shoes, Gloves, and 10 other slots), and dye system to customize the look of your characters even more.

If you’re into a dev team that has never played an competitively balanced game then this game is for you. The blatant disregard of respect this game company has for any of their community is in full view here in the way that they not only add and balance content, but monetize and try to nonchalantly benefit whales with the crafting system. KOG tries to capitalize off of their hardcore brain dead community by adding changes that no one asked for to bolster either the incentives to spend money, or to get DLC sales (which btw, the game is in EA and has had over $400 worth of dlc in the span of 5 months since its release) and then change it after a backlash to get the white knights to say “see! They do listen!”. Adding cosmetics to your game and charging for it is fine, but to prioritize digital goods over actual content and balancing game mechanics is not the best method for long term success. It’s a shame to have yet another potential great game squandered by a greedy company and a delusional dev team.

After 30 hours of playing this game, I'll write my honest review:

My main Beef with the game: KOG is neglecting balance to favor a DLC class; instead of balancing the DLC class they just shove content to distract the mentally challenged player base this game has.

While this is fun I wish there was more to do than the same missions over and over again. And if there are more missions I have yet to find them

Great graphics and fighting mechanics, but after the 3 tutorial fights, ur left with no help on what to do. its just really confusing.

The characters are cute, the PvE is cool, the moves are awesome. The PvP, which is a major focus of the game; Absolute garbage. I played with a friend of mine and we dominated the lowest bracket without losing a single match, we must be really good at this game we thought! Then the next bracket hit us. It wasn't a difficulty spike in player skill, but rather a sheer cliff of combo knowledge. Every single player knows infinite combos for their class, and will link you into a hit chain of death that you can never escape from. There isn't a counterplay to this besides also using these, as one misstep from you means you're in comboland again.

The game is destroyed as of today, adding a new invincible character.

I live in SEA country and I got very high ping in Asia sever. That make me die every time when i fighting.

After only a few hours I find it pretty good so far(besides some grinding, which is to be expected in these types of games nowadays). Cel-shaded graphics and anime cutscenes are awesome, combat is mostly smooth and cosmetic-only microtransactions are nice. Wish there were a few more character customization options(facial expressions, face shape, etc) and an open-world exploration mode like WoW, would definitely be epic.

I gotta say that I love this game... The anime art style the character creation and the combat. It is pretty decent visually as well. The only downside is that its lavking content. It needs more dungeons and PvE and PvP modes... Some optimization might help as well
