About This Game Written with love... and something much worse.
This room holds your biggest fears ...and a diary. Its every page describes heartfelt feelings for a boy, and what happened 3 years ago in a small town of Rosen Peek.
Maybe none of those things matter to you. Nonetheless, you must read through the mystery diary to keep on moving with your life. However, unknown horror grows within the walls as the past catches up with you and a sweet love story turns into a tale of madness.
So sit down, and start reading.
*Atmospheric horror that takes place mostly in a small room that keeps changing as the story progresses.
*Diary-driven storytelling that focuses a lot on reading than exploration.
*A short story about the fine line between love and obsession.

Love, Sam user review
I can’t tell you how many indie horror games there are that lock you in a room or house to be tormented by something. It’s like this weird psychological horror gestalt where developers think they can tell Silent Hill 2’s story in Silent Hill 4’s apartment, without any of the mastery that made those games such touchstones. But Love, Sam is the one that gets it right. The folks who produced this dark little gem understood the needs of framing, pacing, and uncertainty to make the prison of your mind the horrific, oppressive place it can be. Not only that, they wove their horror into a fascinating mystery that will keep you guessing, right up until it’s too late.
I'm so glad games like this exist, games with passion and understanding of the horror genre. The writing was good and the imagery was on point. I like how the game was vague and mysterious, but not too vague where you don't get what the ♥♥♥♥ was happening. The scares are well balanced and effective without being overwhelming like in most horror games. The puzzles can get a little tricky but you'll figure them out after a few tries.
One of the most solid horror games I have played in a while. High quality, and as someone that doesn't scare much ever, the game sent goosebumps down my back more than once. This is the type of game that indie horror devs should be looking to as far as standards go. For 2 dollars, this is V E R Y worth it. Loved it.
Good horror story-telling game!
The game looks good and has an engaging story however the game has a fair amount of frustrating moments that have to do with the design of the game. i.e. in one of the sections of the game you have to paint over smiles decals on doors to unlock the doors but you are given a very short amount of time to complete this. This last one was the last straw for me since I couldn't progress.
Game is a compelling psychological horror story. Well written and well paced!
Well paced and executed psychological horror game.
Just finished and found out that this game has a good story plot , good job with the gameplay and story ploting . I really exciting to see this game as a short movie as film student and I really looking foward to see another game that have perfect story line like this game :D
Some of the puzzles were ??? but for what it's worth, I thought it was a very effective game- intriguing story line, creepy atmosphere, and the perfect amount of time to finish for 3 bucks.
pretty damn good!
Quite a bit of typos here and there, but a very good game in the end.
Perfect game to knock out on a rainy night alone.
This one lost me pretty quickly, maybe it gets better, but a game where you read the diary of a young girl gushing about her ex-boyfriend with very cliche horror tropes happening around the room you're in (phone ringing with heavy breathing on the other end, lights flickering, knocking on the door with nobody there etc.) just served to make me cringe and didn't make a very compelling argument for me to keep playing. Certainly not for me.
Love, Sam is an excellent game with an even better story. The way everything is told and how it connects make it just an amazing experience. One of the best horror games I've ever played, if not the best. I definitely recommend this game to people who like to read and people who enjoy psychological horror.
What an amazing horror-story game. Highly recommended!
My ♥♥♥♥ing socks are super stinky
