Moonrise Fall user review
Puzzles are too simple. One is literally connect the dots. The gameplay consists of slowly walking, taking photos of specific creatures found by how good your reading comprehension skills are. There's no challenge or tension to the game whatsoever. The creatures you take photos of do nothing its just busy work to gate you off to finishing the game.

I've played the game for about two hours, and I really like it so far. Over that time I've found a little over half of the collectables.
( I have been a tester for Moonrise Fall since its early development. My Steam time is not a close representation of my total time played.)
Moonrise Fall is a fantastic 2D adventure puzzle game. After arriving in the woods alone you are provided with several tools to help you on your adventure. Exploring the beautiful environments, accompanied by a fantastic sound track, you collect items and necessary items to proceed to the next areas. You will also come along riddles with clues and interesting puzzles to solve to help you in your progress. Underneath it all is a meaningful story that has more of an impact than expected.
Neat little atmospheric game. Got roughly 5 hours in it with all achievements/collectibles found. Didn't have a walkthrough so not overly difficult or long but I enjoyed my time with this one.
Somewhere between dreams and wakefulness, death and life, dark and light there is a place called Moonrise Fall.
Playing this game made me somewhat existential. How many interesting games will fade into obscurity? How many will be lost in time? There are thousands of titles that won’t get a sliver of spotlight, and I know Moonrise Fall will be the same. The market has expanded in ways that are almost incomprehensible and it’s impossible to give them all a fair shake. I probably wouldn’t be thinking about this with other games, but Moonrise Fall’s focus on melancholy, loss, and death really brought that out in a way that was beautiful and tragic. Even if the game stutters at times and some puzzles drag on a bit too much, I enjoyed the time I spent in Moonrise Fall. It never outstayed its welcome, giving a game that’s on the shorter end without feeling rushed. This isn’t a game for everyone, but anyone who loves these sorts of exploration games should give it a try.
I am not normally an adventure game player, I prefer action and usually fps games. There is just something about how the game flows with the art, music and puzzles, that intrigues me and makes this feel more than just a game it's a masterpiece. I highly recommend Moonrise Fall, and encourage you to play to the end, if you don't you are missing out on something special.
