About This Game
Living on the streets of a dump like Pinnacle City, there’s only two things to keep you going: A pack of cigarettes and the feeling that there’s more than this.
There was something rotten in that rundown place. You were in over your head, but you were too proud to admit it. It was your pride that killed your partner.
With the hospital burned to a crisp and nothing to exonerate you, they threw you in jail.

With your sanity at stake, how can you afford not to take it?

Pixel Noir user review
First off, I really hope this game gets more traction, it's shaping up to be something very rich and fascinating!
Welcome to 16 bit Noir scifi shooter rpg. You have the good old turn based rpg element. Which as a rpg nerd from way back I love. The game as it stands holds your hand heavily as it leads you through this story which can get a bit old and feels forced. But the graphics and style takes me back to my days of ShadowRunner on the SNES. Which was a great game for it's day. I've run into a few bugs as would anyone during a early release game. Some broke the game. Others watched a npc float all the way off the map during a fight. which caused me to bust up. Other times you run into a lag skip or two. But of course this is a early release. I think this game could be great as long as it can let up on the hand holding and maybe offer more to explore. But I mean come on with such great cases like finding a missing cat that turns out to be a drug mule! It's already got my attention and wanting to see what other fun stuff they put in there. There is also a investigation mechanic that could use a bit more flushing out. But as I said this early access and it looks like it will be a fun and great game for the price.
Wait a long while to buy this, unless the idea of paying to be an alpha-tester is interesting to you.
Before we get into this review I suggest going into this game blind. That is how I did it and I really think it makes the experience that much more enjoyable. If you enjoy JRPGs, the pixelated style, and noirs then this is the game for you. Trust me, the surprise is worth it. If you really want to know what you are getting into or have already played the game, then read on.
