About This Game Run Gun Die Ultimate is a top-down shooter with procedurally generated levels for our heroine to explore and fight though. The sole purpose of each level is to find your partner waiting for you at the end of the level. The gameplay is inspired by the dual joystick games of old.
Explore for treasure, break crates and barrels, open chests and tombs, but don't stay still long as enemies will find you. Fight skeletons, shamans, run from chargers and face mini bosses (slayer, lava and acid) all while finding your way out.
Take the gold you earn from collecting treasure to buy new weapons or upgrade your existing ones. Please note there are no real money options or microtransactions in this game.
We highly recommend a joystick with dual analog support.
Run Gun Die Ultimate is designed to be tough, but not impossible in a casual adventure setting.

Run Gun Die Ultimate user review
Overall the game is decent, mechanics are smooth when they work. I encountered a few issues getting my character stuck walking around the boarder of the campsite. Also my cross-hair would get stuck on certain objects and would not come off. The flashlight is kind of annoying when it just wobbles around, I get it supposed to make it "realistic" but common I feel like i'm gonna have a seizure. The only reason why I don't recommend this game is just because it doesn't seem very interesting. It was a great free mobile game for just casual play, but I wouldn't pay money for it. The only time any game if worth paying for is if it can be played a long enough time to feel satisfied. It seems like there isn't much forward momentum in the game, other than to explore and upgrade equipment. I get that there might be future projects that can expand the game and add new and cool things but you have to have something there to begin with. The idea of the game is nice and original but i feel the execution of it hasn't improved much past the mobile version. The menus look kind of silly compared to the aesthetic of the rest of the game, they just look like a bad photo-shop in my opinion. That also brings up the problem of the settings, first off the only way to get to it is in camp which is annoying. If there is somewhere else that I could not find then i stand corrected. Secondly I see the blurred outline of a task bar in the bottom, which could possible create a legal issue. Any time I pull up a menu though my mouse tracking just drops and moves so slowly.
Overall, the game was really well designed and thought through. I liked how the aim and shoot mechanics felt whilst playing the game. The main thing I disliked about the game was the grenades were very hard to use effectively. A possible fix is to have the crosshair dictate where the grenade will land. A few other thoughts were that in-game progress bars for treasure and enemies would help the player in fully completing the levels. One last observation is although health dropped pretty frequently, ammo was not quite as easy to come by. This could have been a desired outcome to make the game even more challenging and if so, well done. In conclusion, the game is entertaining and also challenging which would get me to continue playing. However, I wish the grenade system was easier to control and in-game progress bars would be helpful for completionists such as myself.
