Sanator: Scarlet Scarf
It's... niche. Yeah, pretty much it. The game isn't long and prose a bit cluttery. But it has that rare intriguing impression.
An extremely short russian VN; Sanator is a little too ambitious for it's own good, and in desperate need of a professional editor or new translation.
"Sanator: Scarlet Scarf" is mediocre. Pretentious, yet unbelievably boring at the same time. I was somewhat intrigued by its grimdark premise and "horror" tag, but the writing eventually proved to be more than I could handle.
Sanator: Scarlet Scarf is not a long game, but a good quality one nonetheless.
Mediocre game. The art is great, the music is okay and the premise is intriguing. But the translation is not great, and the story itself isn't interesting enough to keep you curious. It feels more like a set up for a larger scale story, rather than its own game. And that's a shame.
Amazing world building, though short. Feels like it's meant to be part of a series.
TL;DR: It's short but nonetheless captivating. I advise to check it out if you're into the whole dark fantasy setting with a focus on a plague epidemic.
Good read, albeit short.
Too expensive! 1 hour gameplay
It’s like I took a candy, but dropped it. So cliffhanded.
Either the translator is a nitwit or the writer. Or both. Big ups for the artist!
good vn
I had Sanator on my wishlist way before it was released and thus found myself very curious as how the final product would turn out.
It's wonderful! A perfect mixture of visuals, sounds, texts.
The strongest aspects of the game are its music and art. The world building is quite good as well. However, the story is quite short. Overall, it is a solid experience and I look forward to the developer's next project. I imagine it will be expanding on this game's world.
