long description
About This Game
Shattered Lights is a one-of-a-kind, fully roomscale based VR horror game which takes you on a journey down a seemingly abandoned underground medical facility armed with nothing but a flashlight and your sanity.
Using non-euclidean geometry the game will immerse you into a world where every single step you take is purely physical and you’ll never once have to use controllers to move around, even so, you’ll still be able to explore intricate areas, impossible geometry and any situation that Shattered Lights will throw at you.Do Note:
Shattered Lights requires a play area of at least 2m x 2m (6 feet and 7 inches). There’s an option to play within a smaller space of 1.5m x 1.5m, but this is not recommended as it makes for a less stable experience, which some may experience as unpleasant. The Team:
Team Morbid is a student team studying International Game Architecture & Design Programme at the Breda University Of Applied Sciences.

Shattered Lights user review
This is one of the best horrors I've experienced: I simply could not play it by myself for more than a few minutes. And playing in company of friends still was very scary)
Very genius use of VR. You make circles in your room and you think you proceed a big level. You feel claustrophobia! Incredible experience! Excellent atmosphere!! Good Job.
Wow. For being free this was amazing. What threw me off was the non teleporting. It was all roomscale so walking around was absolutely amazing. I've played plenty of VR but this was amazingly immersive. Short lived and wanting more but this was so awesome and I'd love more games to adapt using roomscale in this manner. Loved it!
muito bom cara
Very well polished and executed walk-around VR horror game. It uses room scale incredibly well, it’s like a poster child for how great room scale can be. It took me a bit, but I finally came to trust the level design, and turned off my chaperone to really get into the mood. Very creepy environments, immersive sounds, and it ran smooth and stable for me. The only thing that I want is MORE – it’s too short! I can’t believe it’s free, great job devs, and I’m hoping we see more from you. Thumbs: UP!
Great experience! Very good! Thank you!
***SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW, PLEASE PLAY THE GAME FOR YOURSELF FOR THE FULLEST EXPERIENCE
I Have Literally Walked Through the Halls of Resident Evil 2 (Sort Of).
Man, this is one of the best room scale, horrors I've played. And horror is my preferred genre. I can't believe it was free. This is better than most of the paid experiences I've tried. It's kind of short, but you get what you pay for I suppose. Well, in case this case I got WAY MORE than I paid for, which was nothing. Amazing graphics and terrific atmosphere. I don't think I've ever charged a flashlight faster in my life. If you like horror and you're on the fence about this one. GET IT. It's free, so you have nothing to lose!
Gameplay:
Nice little spooky experience that makes good use of room scale. The first time my time "ran out" was pretty intense.
I had a glitch twice where my hand became disconnected from my controller and I could not recover. That was when I had the space cranked down to 1.5 x 1.5 so maybe that could have contributed to it. Even though I had a negative experience, I'd have to say that the graphics were very well done and detailed. I'm sure this glitch will be fixed and I look forward to more games from this group.
Awesome game! Can't believe its 100% free! The movement is absolutely genius and works even with a pretty tiny playarea. Try it out if you dare!
Absolutely the most scary horror game I've ever ever ever played.
I have seen this type of space-using in some experimental videos. First game that really uses this. Feels very natural and does not break the immersion like teleporting (unless you don't bump in furniture).
Easily one of the most impressive and most well done horror VR experiences I've seen, and I've seen a fair few. The fact that it's room-scale, so you can physically walk around without teleporting is fantastic, and really ramps up the immersion!.
A must-play.
