About This Game
Following right after the ending of the original Spark the Electric Jester, you'll take control of Fark, now in the third dimension, in his quest to find out his true identity! Speed through several fast paced platforming stages, action packed bosses and fully animated cutscenes.
The story picks up right after the first ending of the original game and tells Fark's story. The gameplay is a mix of action and platforming in a clever way, taking elements from many games of both genres, you are able to find powers that change the way you play, enjoy a great freedom of movement, discover many different ways to beat each stage and ways to do it faster. The same composers from the original game are back in full force, delivering a soundtrack that is better than ever.

Spark the Electric Jester 2 user review
Do you like Sonic Adventure? Then you'll like this.
I love it! It's all I wanted from
It's like if Sega kept making Sonic Adventure but decided to only leave in the sonic stages, and made it far less janky. Not perfect by any means, but it is for sure very good, and worth your money.
tldr: If you like Sonic Adventure 1/2, Sonic Heroes AND Spark 1 then you will definately enjoy this one too. Just do not expect this to be Sonic Adventure 3, it is not! Still it's quite amazing to see a legit good-quality 3D Sonic-style platformer to come out today. For this price it's a great deal (you get much more fun than from Sonic Forces...). Overall I enjoyed the game, recommended!
Spark 2.0 does what Sonican't and Shadon't in 3D.
Spark the Electric Jester 2 is by no means a bad game. It is, however, a somewhat disappointing sequel.
The game feels like a literal translation of the last game in a 3D enviorment. the game mechainches felt a bit odd at first but once you get used to them Fark feels great to control over all and you can even perform some really nice tricks and skips. it very similar to how Sonic plays in the Adventure series and how you can skip portions of levels using the spindash except a bit more smart and expanded upon. the levels are fun and well designed especialy from a Speed Run perspective they have a nice balance of having lots of nice places to explore while not braking your pace and even encourage you to discover your own paths by utulizing Fark's mechaniches. The Story is something I am a bit not sure about, for me its just there and I dont know what to think of it, but it doesnt really has an effect on the gameplay and I think thats where the strong point of the game is.
The game runs smoothly so far, fixed 60 fps with vsync on.
I fairly enjoyed my romp through the game. Gameplay is pretty much SA2 if it had a parry system close to Metal Gear Rising.
The original Spark the Electric Jester has pretty clear roots: someone wondered what would happen if you taped Sonic the Hedgehog and Megaman X together in the form of a single game. It's a strange idea, but once you play it, you realize how well it works. Dashing and wall kicks work well in conjunction with high-speed running and loop-de-loops, and the one-button melee combat system blended fairly well. The power-up system provided a nice mix of melee changes and movement changes that tied the combat and platforming together and made the game feel, if a bit derivative, like a cohesive whole of a game.
Very good fast paced 3D platformer and action game. If only modern Sonic games could take notes from this game, 3D Sonic would be a lot better. The game feels a lot like the Sonic Adventure games but more polished, I highly recommend this to anyone that needs a Sonic/3D platformer fix and don't mind a cheesy/edgy story to go along with it.
the game lags too much even at the lowest settings pls fix that. also the game is good
It's a pretty enjoyable time overall.
yesssssssssssssssss
Sparks the Electric Jester 2 is a game that seems to draw inspiration from Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, and combines it with a combat system that reminded me a bit of Metal Gear Rising, just not as complex. Just like the first Sparks game you have multiple abilities to pick from, and plenty of platforming to do.
