Starlink: Battle for Atlas user review

For a game that definetly has a "toy" feel it is surprisingly addictive. There is a fair amount to do, the story is better then what it could have been, and overall is just a good "pick up and play" kind of game that you can spend hours or just do a quick few activities.
After playing the Switch version for a bit I really liked the game but just couldn't get past the truly awful graphics. Eventually got round to buying the PC version, in a sale.
    Fantastic!
I'm having a lot of fun with this game - it's repetitive, like most Ubisoft titles, but I'm enjoying what I'm doing. The problem, however, is that it's appallingly expensive. Eighty dollars for a game from last year? A hundred dollars' worth of DLC that amounts to two fairly small weapon, pilot, and ship packs? Come on, Ubi. Wait for a sale unless you're hellbent on playing No Man's Sky crossed with Far Cry.
As someone who loves Starlink (I also own it on the Switch), I cannot recommend it at it's current price.
I love this game to bits. I have all the other versions, and all the toys. However, since they went digital only, there is no reason for the absurdly high price. Even with regional pricing, this game is way more expensive than other triple A games. I'd say the base price would have to be at least 50% of what it is now to consider it worth it. If on a good sale (at least 50%), I'd say go for it, otherwise, unfortunately, your money is better spent elsewhere.
I'm having a great time with Starlink. The game is just fun top play, the voice acting is great, and the graphics are solid.
On sale at 19,99€ it's worth it if you like space / action / exploration games.
So far it seems like a promising game and from the little time I played I enjoyed it very much.
    - Single player space game
    mindless fun.
I don't know what to say except I like it a lot!
Finished this game on Switch and really liked it and just bought it on PC b/c I want to try the game in HD and it's on sale. I'll buy DLC 2 when it's on sale down the road.
    A definite buy.
    เสียดายที่ starfox เป็น ex เลยดรอปลงจาก switch นิดหน่อย แต่ลง pc การบังคับเลยง่ายขึ้น
    Good Game
Starlink: Battle for Atlas gets a little repetitive after a while, but over all fun game. It mostly suffers from the same issues other open world Ubi-games, repetitive busy work. It is similar to No Man's Sky only in that you seamlessly transition from planet to space without loading. You place bases only to solidify your defences on each planet, and don't get to design them or actually construct them.
